Job Description: Shopping Mall Cleaner, Shopping Mall Cleaning Supervisor

Job Summary: As a Shopping Mall Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall appearance of the shopping mall. You will be responsible for performing various cleaning and janitorial tasks to uphold the mall's cleanliness standards and provide a pleasant shopping environment for visitors.
Responsibilities:
General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting throughout the shopping mall premises, including common areas, restrooms, corridors, escalators, and elevators.
Trash and Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash, emptying waste bins and recycling receptacles regularly. Ensure proper segregation and disposal of different types of waste materials.
Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors. Restock restroom supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
Floor Care: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of mall floors by sweeping, mopping, and polishing as necessary. Handle spills and stains promptly to prevent slip hazards and maintain a safe environment.
Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean glass surfaces, windows, and entryways to maintain a spotless appearance and enhance the mall's aesthetic appeal. Remove smudges, fingerprints, and marks for a clean and inviting atmosphere.
Furniture and Fixture Cleaning: Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, handrails, and other surfaces to maintain cleanliness and presentable appearances.
Special Events Support: Assist in cleaning and setup tasks during special events or promotions held within the shopping mall, including arranging furniture, cleaning up after events, and restoring the area to its original condition.
Reporting and Maintenance: Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs, such as broken fixtures, leaks, or damages, to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Compliance with Safety and Hygiene Standards: Adhere to all safety regulations, guidelines, and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for shoppers, employees, and visitors.
Customer Service: Provide friendly and courteous customer service by assisting shoppers with directions, answering basic inquiries, and maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor.
Requirement:
- Proven experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is an advantage.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
